Manuscript Evaluation: If you have a complete manuscript and want to know what’s working and what isn’t, a manuscript evaluation can help you. I will write you a letter (10–15 pages) with feedback covering the broad structural elements of your work. For a manuscript evaluation, I work with fantasy and nonfiction projects.
Developmental Editing: A developmental edit includes an editorial letter (10–15 pages) and document markup. It involves large-scale suggestions (such as adding or cutting material) to improve the organization, effectiveness, and flow of a manuscript. Copy Editing: This type of editing helps you achieve a clear, correct, and consistent text. It focuses on the details, including ensuring consistent spellings, number treatment, and capitalization, as well as correct grammar and punctuation. A copy edit creates a clean text to give your reader the best possible experience.
Proofreading: Proofreading involves checking both textual and visual elements once your text has already been typeset (in other words, when it is in its final format and looks the way it will look when printed).
Writing: I provide writing services for blog posts, website copy, or other text.
Formatting: For independent authors, I can provide the service of coding your ebook and creating an epub file.
